January 14 vs. Indian Hill
Milford’s stretch of incredible defense continued as the Eagles shut out Indian Hill in the first half of a 40-20 win over the Braves. After holding St. Ursula scoreless in the fourth quarter on Monday night, the Eagles posted two more consecutive quarters not allowing a point to open the Indian Hill contest. Before the Braves scored in the first minute of the third quarter, Milford had not allowed a point in nearly 30 straight minutes of play.

The Eagles weren’t super sharp shooting, but made enough shots to hold a 17-0 lead at the half. The biggest lead of the night, 26, came just past the midway point of the third when Devin Morris buried a three-pointer.

Milford was again balanced on offense with Kaylie McKenney and Miah O’Toole leading the way with 10 points each. Devin Morris, Madalyn Hills and Kelsey McKenney all added six each, with freshman Ashley Klodell netting her first-ever bucket to round out the scoring.

The Eagles have now won three straight and four of their last five dating back to late December.
