GAME REWIND

Milford cruised to a 21-point halftime lead on the way to a 57-42 victory over Clark Montessori in the final game of the 2018 calendar year. The Eagles started hot, jumping out to a 21-7 advantage after the first quarter as they dominated on both ends of the floor. The victory represented the first time this season the Eagles have won back-to-back contests.

POLL WATCH: The Eagles did not receive any votes in the most recent Cincinnati Enquirer area Division I coaches’ poll. Mount Notre Dame continues to the No. 1 ranked team, earning 12 of the 16 first place votes. ECC member Walnut Hills is second with three top nods. The rest of top-five includes Princeton (one vote), Lakota West and Mason. The ECC is also represented by Loveland in sixth, with Kings and Anderson among others receiving votes. The coaches’ poll is released every Monday at Noon.
