Posted on: October 19, 2023

SETTING THE SCENE: A 10-0 regular season, an outright ECC title and the No. 1 seed in DI, Region 4 are all on the line for Milford as it hosts Turpin in the regular season finale. The Eagles are chasing the first undefeated season at the school since 1957, as well as the program’s first outright conference crown since 1986. Both will be achieved, along with the top-seed, with a win over the Spartans. Ranked fifth in Ohio this week, the Eagles will lean on their defense which has yielded a total of just 14 points in the last 18 quarters of play, including a trio of shutouts during the stretch. They will be tested by a stout Turpin passing game, though the Spartans average just under 18 points per game.
