Milford High School Announces Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2019

The Milford High School Athletic Department and the Milford Athletic Boosters Club are pleased to announce the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee Class of 2019. Four individuals have been chosen by the Hall of Fame committee. They are:

 

  • Sarah Alley Eldridge (Class of 2011)—Softball
  • Tom Kilgore (Coach)—Baseball
  • Kyle Krummert (Class of 2008)—Wrestling
  • Brian Rohne (Class of 1990)—Track, Cross Country, Swimming

 

The foursome will be inducted into the Hall of Fame prior to Friday night’s (February 7) boys varsity basketball game against Loveland. Festivities include a pre-induction reception and dinner for the new inductees, their families and friends and the current members of the Milford Hall of Fame.

 

Inductees will receive a keepsake recognizing their athletic accomplishments from the Milford Athletic Boosters Club. A lifetime pass to all Milford Athletic Department events will also be presented. Each inductee’s name will be added to the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame recognition plaque located in the Fley Center lobby at Milford High School.

Sarah Alley Eldridge

Class of 2011

  • Earned four varsity letters in softball
  • MHS: Career Strikeout Record of 812, Lowest record ERA 0.69, 64 career wins, 29 shutouts
  • D1 1st Team All State (2011)
  • D1 Honorable Mention All-State (2010)
  • D1 1st Team All-District (2011)
  • D1 2nd Team All-District (2010)
  • D1 1st Team All-City (2010, 2011)
  • D1 Honorable Mention All City (2008, 2009)
  • 1st Team All-Fort Ancient Valley Conference (2009, 2010, 2011)

  • Community Press Sportswoman of the Year (2010, 2011)
  • Attended Ashland University (Ohio) on a softball scholarship

Kyle Krummert

Class of 2008

  • Earned four varsity letters in wrestling
  • Career wrestling record of 135-40
  • Most career wins in school history at the time of his graduation
  • Greater Miami Conference Wrestling Champion (2006)
  • Fort Ancient Valley Conference Champion (2008)
  • Southwest Ohio Coaches Classic Champion (2007)
  • Three-time Milford Invitational Tournament (MIT) wrestling champion (2006, 2007, 2008)
  • Four-time district wrestling qualifier (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008)
  • Two-time state wrestling qualifier (2006, 2007)
  • 6th place at Ohio Wrestling State Tournament (2007)
  • Graduated from the University of Cincinnati (2014)

 

Brian Rohne

Class of 1990

  • Earned five varsity letters in cross country (1989, 1990), track & field (1988, 1989) and swimming (1990)
  • All-State in cross country (1989)
  • Cincinnati District champion (1989)
  • 1st Team All-City in cross country (1989)
  • Two-time State of Ohio qualifier in cross country (1988, 1989)
  • 4th overall at the state cross country meet in 1989
  • State of Ohio track and field qualifier in the 3,200 meter run (1990)
  • Attended Malone College (1990-1992) and Northern Kentucky University (1992)
  • 1st Team All-District 22 NAIA in cross country (1991)
  • NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association) Team Champions in cross country (1990, 1991)
  • District 22 NAIA Team Champions in cross country (1990, 1991)
  • Runner-up in the 10,000 meters at the NCCAA Track Championships (1992)
  • 9th in NAIA Championship Marathon (1992)
  • 2nd in GLVA cross country (1992)
  • 1st Team All-GLVA Conference (1992)
  • Three-time individual cross country meet champion (1992)
  • Is currently 5th in NKU history for 8,000 meter and 10,000 meter cross country times
  • Chosen as NKU team MVP for his 1992 cross country season
  • Died at the age of 20, January 1993

    • Coached and mentored well over 100 players who went on to play baseball collegiately, 24 played Division I and Milford HOF'er John VanBenschoten (1st Round draftee and MLB Pittsburgh Pirates player)
