Walnut Hills On Tap For Girls Bowling

THE UPCOMING DOCKET:  Milford will have the opportunity to move up to third in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference standings in the week ahead, as a home and away series with Walnut Hills in next on the schedule. 

Tuesday, Jan. 29:       Walnut Hills High School at Milford, Cherry Grove Lanes, 3:45 pm

Thursday, Jan. 31:     Milford at Walnut Hills High School, Madison Bowl, 3:45 pm

 

A LOOK BACK:

January 22 at Milford: Loveland 2225, Milford 2130

Jessica Norman was the top Eagle in the tight conference loss to Loveland, with a high series of 351.  Reagan Hodges (345), Reaghan Kaylor (308) and Samantha Miller (272) each played two games, while Fallon Austin (116) contributed with a single game.

The Eagles split the series with the Tigers as Kaylor, with a 183.5 average on the day, led the Eagles in the victory over ECC rival Loveland.  Miller set two new personal bests in the rematch, including high game of 175 and a 348 two game series.  Hodges rolled a 157 in both games, while two game series from both Norman (297) and Austin (246) round out scores from the Eagles.

  

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: West Clermont improved to 7-0 in the ECC, following a victory over Kings.  Loveland’s victory of the Eagles moved them to 8-2, while Turpin improved to 4-3.  Milford improved to 4-4 followed by Kings (3-4), Walnut Hills (2-7) and Anderson (0-8). 

Though West Clermont leads the league in team average (782.0), followed by Milford (726.), Loveland (711.2), Turpin (706.2) and Kings (701.6) rounding out the top five.

A look at Milford’s individual statistical leaders in the ECC as of Jan. 27:

Average: Kaylor (5th – 164.8); Norman (6th – 160.9); Hodges (10th – 152.8)

High Game: Hodges (1st – 267); Norman (3rd – 243)

Series High: Norman (4th – 402); Hodges (6th – 392); Kaylor (10th – 374)
