Week Of August 28 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Reece Davis and Christian Felix
Milford Football
Reece, a senior, was a dual threat in a big way in Milford's wild win over Lebanon. He opened the game with an 87-yard punt return for a touchdown, then hauled in a receiving TD late in the first quarter. He capped the night with the game-winning TD reception with 34 seconds remaining. Reece finished the night with nine catches for 130 yards, along with 175 yards in returns. Christian, a junior, made his first big impact play of the season on defense with a sack/forced fumble that set up an Eagles' touchdown. He finished with three tackles on top of the strip sack.
Shahd Masud
Freshman, Milford Cross Country
Shahd had an impressive debut in her first-ever cross country race on Saturday, finishing fourth for the team and 18th overall in the race. Shahd finished in a pack with two other Milford runners helping the team to a second-place finish at the Lakota Fall Classic.
Peyton Smith
Senior, Milford Soccer
Peyton has scored four times and assisted twice in our last two games. She is a force to be reckoned with in the midfield, and she’s only getting better with every game!
