Week Of December 13 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Owen Ferrara
Senior
Swimming
Owen was a four-time winner at the Eagles' most recent meet, a tri-meet victory over Dixie Heights and Simon Kenton. Individually, Owen was victorious in the 200 IM and 100 butterfly. He went on to swim the third leg of the winning 200 medley relay and finished the night as the anchor leg in the triumphant 400 freestyle relay.
Ashley Johnson
Junior
Swimming
Ashley was one of her team's top point scorers against Dixie Heights and Simon Kenton, earning four podium finishes. On the individual side, Ashley picked up second and third place finishes in the 50 and 100 freestyle events, respectively. As part of relay action, Ashley helped the 400 freestyle relay to a runner-up finish and the 200 medley relay to a third-place tally.
Shelby Sullivan

Shelby led the girls this past week with a 182 average. She also had the girls high game so far this season with a 215.
Nolan Littrell
Junior
Bowling
Nolan continued his good start to the season with a 204 average in three matches. His 256 against Kings on Monday was the boys high game so far this year.
Violet Shuluga
Freshman
Basketball
Violet brings an offensive spark to the team every time she comes into the game. Against Walnut Hills, she had a career-high 13 points coming off the bench and helping her team to another big conference win.
Austin Holman
Sophomore
Wrestling
Austin went 3-2 at the Edgewood Invitational and took fifth place.
