Week Of February 6 ECC Athletes Of The Week

Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!

Maggie Braun
Senior, Milford Diving
Maggie wrapped up her season by winning the six-dive competition at the West Clermont Invitational. For the meet, Maggie posted a score of 145.55.

Adam Clayton
Junior, Milford Wrestling
Although he normally wrestles in the 150 lb. weight class, Adam wrestled up to 157 this past week to fill a hole in our lineup against Little Miami. Adam won by major decision and helped the team secure the win against the Panthers.

Elizabeth Eminger
Senior, Milford Swimming
In the final meet of the regular season, Elizabeth helped a pair of relays to podium finishes. She started the night swimming the third leg of the 200 medley relay which took second. Later, she swam leg number two of the third-place 200 freestyle relay. Individually, Elizabeth also captured top-10 finishes in both the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.

Logan Holliday
Senior, Milford Swimming
In his final meet as an Eagle, Logan was part of two third-place finishing relays, while also picking up a pair of individual top-10s. He led off the 200 freestyle relay and later swam the second leg of the 200 medley relay. In individual events, he placed in both the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.

Carolyn Marks
Senior, Milford Swimming
A pair of podium finishes in relays were Carolyn's highlights in the last regular season meet of the season. She swam the second leg of the runner-up 200 medley relay, before kicking off the 200 freestyle relay which took third. In individual events, Carolyn earned top-10 finishes in the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.

Erich Morgan
Senior, Milford Basketball
Erich made history last week when he set a new school record for theee-pointers in a season when he made his 47th trey of the year. He finished the week with 53 to further extend the Milford mark.

Miah O'Toole
Senior, Milford Basketball
This past week, Miah set the school record for most three-pointers in a season with 60 on the year. She also holds the record with three-pointers in a game with seven.

Victor Zavalaga
Senior, Milford Swimming
Victor tied a bow on his high school career by helping Milford to third-place finishes in a pair of relays in his final meet. In the 200 freestyle relay, he swam the second leg and was the anchor of the 200 medley relay. Victor also placed in the top-10 in the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.
