Week Of September 25 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Robby Mickler and Nathan Webster
Milford Football
A pair of seniors came up with key performances in helping Milford improve to 6-0 with a win over Little Miami. Robby came up with a pair of interceptions from his safety position and was part of a defensive effort which allowed a season-low 219 yards and recorded its first shutout since last season's playoff opener. Nathan topped 100 yards rushing for the third time in the five games he's played this season, finishing with 142 against the Panthers. He also scored three rushing touchdowns. Despite missing one game, he's second in the ECC with 613 yards rushing.
Lainey Patch
Sophomore, Milford Cross Country
Lainey is a first-year runner as a sophomore, and we are so glad that she has joined us. Lainey comes to practice with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic every day. She also ran a new career PR Saturday at the Fairmont Invitational.
Abby Smith
Senior, Milford Soccer
Abby scored a 30-yard shot in the last two minutes of our match-up against Anderson to tie the game. She saved our placement in the ECC standings with very little time to spare. She is our hero!
