Weeks Of September 11 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Each week throughout the school year, we’ll feature the student athletes nominated by their coaches as Eastern Cincinnati Conference Athletes of the Week. Congratulations to each award recipient!
Samantha Hendricks
Senior, Milford Golf
Samantha has fired off back-to-back 44s at both Eagle's Nest and Clovernook CC this past week, one of which helped lead her team to victory on Tuesday vs. Harrison. Samantha continues to lead her team and has been the Lady Eagles’ team medalist in over half of their matches.
Ana Manning
Senior, Milford Soccer
Ana scored four goals in two games this past week. Included in that was a hat trick against league opponent Turpin.
Rachel Morgan
Sophomore, Milford Volleyball
Over four matches last week, Rachel accumulated 79 digs, 32 kills, and eight aces. Her defensive efforts provide great leadership and energy for her team!
Jasmin Mu
Senior, Milford Tennis
Jasmin led the Lady Eagles to three wins last week in a big way, losing just three total games in a trio of straight-set victories. She opened the week with a 6-1, 6-1 win before going even better the next time out with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Jasmin wrapped up her week with a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
Katie Reckman
Freshman, Milford Cross Country
Katie is a first-time cross country runner who has made significant improvements through the first three weeks of the season. We look for Katie to continue her improvement and to challenge for a varsity spot as the season progresses.

In a big win over Anderson and its high-powered offense, the foursome of Andrew Littrell, Tofa Luani, Cole Miller and Nathan Webster all played a starring role. The Eagles' linebacker threesome of Andrew (17), Cole (17) and Tofa (14) combined for 48 tackles on the night as the Milford defense withstood 108 offensive snaps by Anderson. Andrew also had a sack and forced a pick-six interception return with a fierce rush of the quarterback. Tofa tagged on 1.5 tackles for loss, blocked a punt, and scored three rushing touchdowns on offense. Nathan matched Tofa with three rushing scores, while finishing with 170 yards on the ground.
