The Milford High School Department of Athletics is excited to announce the next leaders of the Eagles highly successful Competition Cheer Team. Abby Mueller will join the program as head coach, with Grace Tilley coming on board as the assistant competition coach. Mueller comes to Milford with a long list of cheerleading experience, including nearly seven years as the Director of Midwest Athletics in Batavia. As one of the founders of the program in 2016, Mueller has helped increase participation from 20 athletes at its outset to 130 currently. She has been active in all areas of the program including choreography, designing of uniforms and spirit wear as well as various administrative responsibilities. Mueller graduated from Northern Kentucky University and Batavia High School and accumulated 10 years of cheer experience as a student through the Cheerleading International Academy of Cincinnati. Tilley has worked with Mueller at Midwest Athletics since 2020, also helping in the nearly six times jump in competitive athletes. She has a long history as a cheerleader at the Cheerleading International Academy in Cincinnati, Columbus’ Matrix Allstars and Midwest Cheer Elite in West Chester. She was also a cheerleader for a year at the University of Louisville. Tilley graduated from the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts. The duo will take on leadership of a Milford program that was won eight straight Eastern Cincinnati Conference titles, state championships in the last three years a UCA Performance National Championship in 2022 and eight UCA Gameday National Championships since 2004. |
