Girls Bowling Tournament Report: January 27
January 27 at East vs. West Showdown
The Eagles were seeded fourth out of eight teams in the East division after the qualifying round games with a total of 2790. The girls were led by our three seniors, Cali Mashew (471 series), Mallory Rees (432 series) and Lilly Harmon (426 series). They defeated Anderson in three games to win the first elimination match. They then defeated the #1 seed and three-time defending east side tournament champion Batavia in three games to advance to the East Division finals where they defeated Summit Country Day in two straight games and earned the East Division Championship aka "Best of the East." The girls advanced to the overall tournament championship match against the west side champion Taylor Yellowjackets. They lost a close final fifth game in the best three out of five Baker game match and finished as the overall tournament runner-up. We are extremely proud of the girls for their East Division Championship and 2nd Place overall finish!
