Milford High School Announces Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024

The Milford High School Athletic Department and the Milford Athletic Boosters Club are pleased to announce inductions for the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2024. The following individuals have been chosen by the Hall of Fame committee for enshrinement. They are:
• Matthew Belliston, Class of 2008
• Savanna (Termuhlen) Brodner, Class of 2012

The duo was inducted into the Hall of Fame prior to Milford’s boys varsity basketball game on Friday, January 12. Festivities included a pre-induction reception and dinner for the new inductees, their families and friends and the current members of the Milford Hall of Fame.

Inductees received a plaque recognizing their accomplishments from the Milford Athletic Boosters Club. A lifetime pass to all Milford Athletic Department events was also presented. Each inductee’s name will be added to the Milford Athletic Hall of Fame recognition plaque located in the Fley Center lobby at Milford High School.

Induction Class of 2024 Bios

Matthew Belliston (Class of 2008)
• Captured the 2007 FAVC Championship in cross country
• Led the Eagles to the team crown the same year
• Qualified for the OHSAA State Championships as a senior; the first Milford athlete to do so in over 20 years
• Was named Milford’s Male Athlete of the Year as a senior
• Also earned second team All-FAVC honors as a junior
• Owns the ninth-fastest championship time in school history (16:13), achieved at the 2007 FAVC Championships
• Earned a scholarship and ultimately became a team captain for the BYU-Hawaii team

Savanna Termuhlen Brodner (Class of 2012)
• Captured consecutive FAVC Championships in both the 100 and 200 meters as a junior and senior
• Was named the FAVC Athlete of the Year as a senior
• Became the first Milford female to qualify for the OHSAA State Championships in a sprint event, finishing 15th in the 100 meters in 2011
• Owned the school record in both the 100 and 200 meters at the time of graduation
• Was a four-time Team MVP and the Eagle Award winner in 2010-11
• Went on to a successful track career at Wright State University, where she ranks in the top-10 in school history in several events, including the record for the indoor 4x400 meter relay
