Postseason Honors Roll In For Milford Girls Soccer

A season that will be long remembered for Eastern Cincinnati Conference and OHSAA District Championships, along with 19 wins on the pitch have brought a plethora of awards to the Milford Girls Soccer team. Nine Eagles, plus highly successful head coach Jill Helms were recognized by coaches within the ECC and the Southwest District.

Here’s a look at the recipients awards and their season highlights.

Ana Manning
• ECC Offensive Player of the Year & 1st team All-ECC
• Southwest District Player of the Year
• Set the school records for career goals (57) and points (132)
• Led the ECC in goals (29) and points (68) and was tied for second in assists (10)

Peyton Cook
• 1st team All-ECC
• All-Southwest District team
• Selected for the Southwest District All-Star Game on November 13 at CHCA
• Led the ECC in assists (18), was third in points (36) and tied for ninth in goals (9)

Caitlin Evans
• 1st team All-ECC
• All-Southwest District team
• A stalwart on defense who added six assists on offense

Skylar Helms
• 1st team All-ECC
• One of Milford’s top defenders who scored one goal and added an assist

Jessie Nagle
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Led the ECC in both shutouts (10) and saves (122), while allowing only 16 goals in 21 matches

Marlee Scanlon
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Finished second in the ECC rankings with 17 goals and 40 points

Peyton Smith
• 2nd team All-ECC
• Among the top-10 ranked players in the ECC in goals (9), assists (8) and points (26)

Carly Stinson
• 2nd team All-ECC
• A force on defense who also scored one goal and added five assists

Ava Hassert
• Honorable Mention All-ECC
• Scored five goals with a pair of assists

Jill Helms
• ECC Co-Coach of the Year
• Selected as a coach for the Southwest District All-Star Game on November 13 at CHCA
• Achieved her 50th career win
