Senior Day Ahead for Girls Bowling

THE UPCOMING DOCKET:  Milford girls bowling teammates and fans will celebrate the three seniors on the roster at this week’s final home match.  Reagan Hodges, Samantha Miller and Jessica Norman will be recognized at approximately 4:45 pm following regular play when Milford plays at Cherry Grove Lanes for the final time this season.

Monday, Feb. 11:       Turpin High School at Milford, Cherry Grove Lanes, 3:45 pm



February 4 at Reading:  Milford 1897, Reading 150

Jessica Norman was the top Eagle with a 214 in game one and a 385 series; Reagan Hodges (329), Reaghan Kaylor (323), Samantha Miller (307) and Fallon Austin (278) all helped Milford to a non-conference win over Reading,


February 6 at Turpin:  Milford 2448, Turpin 2144

Personal bests were set as the Eagles collected a conference win.  Hodges set a new personal career high series with a 458, while Austin set both a new high game (188) and series high with a 362.  Joining Hodges and Austin with two games were Kaylor (338), Norman (323) and Miller (254).


INSIDE THE NUMBERS: West Clermont swept Loveland last week and will finish the regular season 12-0 and as the conference champions.  Loveland ends the year 8-4, while Milford is 7-4 with a date yet in the coming week with Turpin, who is currently 5-5.  Kings (5-7), Walnut Hills (2-10) and Anderson (1-11) round out the current standings.

West Clermont will close the year leading the ECC in team average (798.8), though Milford, at 741.0 is currently closing in. on the Wolves.  Despite trailing in the standings, Turpin (707.0) ranks third followed by followed by Loveland (705.8) and Kings (697.1) rounding out the top five.

A look at Milford’s individual statistical leaders in the ECC as of Feb. 11:

Average: Kaylor (4th – 164.5); Norman (5th – 163.9); Hodges (7th – 159.4)

High Game: Hodges (1st – 267); Norman (4th – 243)

Series High: Hodges (1st – 458); Norman (7th – 402)
