Week Of February 19 ECC Athletes Of The Week
Cameron Barclay
Junior, Milford Swimming
Cameron will return to the OHSAA State Swimming Meet this week for the second straight year, this time competing in four different events. He has qualified individually in the 200 and 500 freestyle events and will also swim a leg of the Eagles' 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
Eminger Brothers
Milford Diving
Milford brothers, Luke, Patrick and Jacob Eminger have made history becoming the first trio of brothers ever to qualify for the OHSAA State Championship Diving Meet in the same season. This year, he’ll be joined in Canton by Patrick, a junior, and Jacob a freshman. At the OHSAA District Championships, Patrick, a junior, finish fourth (425.50), Luke, a senior, fifth (422.30) and Jacob, a freshman, eighth (322.85).
Kristen Bruce
Sophomore, Milford Swimming
Kristen wrapped up an outstanding season last week at the OHSAA District Championships. Individually, she qualified in the 500 freestyle, while also helping the 400 freestyle relay earn a District berth.
Audrey Fox
Sophomore, Milford Diving
For the second straight year, Audrey has qualified for the OHSAA Diving State Championships after placing fourth at the OHSAA Southwest District Championships with a season-best score of 391.30.
