Adam Horn Advances To OHSAA District Tournament

For the third consecutive year, junior Adam Horn will compete at the OHSAA District Golf Tournament after he advanced during the Sectional Tournament, contested at the Grizzly Course in Mason. Horn was one of four individuals to make the cut, finishing tied for ninth overall with a 76.

Senior Cole Watson nearly made it two Eagles to qualify when he ended the day as part of a four-way tie for the final position. But on the playoff hole, Anderson’s Jackson Miller scored a birdie, while Watson, along with two other players scored par.

In the team standings, the Eagles finished ninth with a team score of 336. Advancing as a team were Mason, Loveland, Lakota East and Sycamore. The District meet will be held next Thursday, October 15 at the Beavercreek Golf Course. Adam will tee off at 10:40 am.
